Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has lifted the lid on a talk he had with Anthony Martial in the wake of social media abuse directed towards the Frenchman.
Martial has been subject to some vile slurs on websites such as Instagram and Twitter in recent weeks. And he was targeted once again following Manchester United's 1-1 draw with West Brom at the weekend.
Speaking ahead of his side's Europa League last-32 first leg against Real Sociedad on Thursday, Solskjaer insisted that Martial is remaining positive despite the abuse. "I spoke to him this morning and he's mentally strong," Solskjaer said. "It's not something anyone should have to go through.
