Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided an important injury update to a number of the club's key players.Solskjaer was speaking before United's Premier League clash with Newcastle and addressed the absence of striker Edinson Cavani.He also talked through the loss of Scott McTominay, who had been expected to continue his partnership alongside Fred.Instead, Solskjaer was forced to start with Nemanja Matic in his midfield two, while Anthony Martial got the nod up-front.The United boss told BT Sport: "He’s [Cavani] not fit yet.
With injuries we can’t force players to play too early, it’s too risky. Hopefully Thursday, maybe Sunday."Yeah Scott [McTominay] as well injured, Nemanja had to come in.
