Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists he will not resign as Manchester United manager but could not say if he still had unanimous backing from the club after the apocalyptic 5-0 defeat by Liverpool.
Liverpool recorded their best-ever win over United at Old Trafford in an ignominious thrashing that has left Solskjaer on the brink and United eight points off the Premier League leaders Chelsea.
United have lost three of their last four league matches, drawing the other, and have conceded 15 goals in the league. Solskjaer has presided over five defeats in the last nine across all competitions but suggested he would continue in the job.
