Odion Ighalo is reportedly willing to take a massive pay cut if it means remaining at Manchester United. The experienced striker was a shock arrival at Old Trafford in the January transfer window.

He’s currently still a Shanghai Shenhua player, but is on loan at the Red Devils until the end of the season. According to The Sun, Ighalo is determined to remain a United player, though.

He’s currently pocketing a cool £240,000 a week with Shenhua. However, it’s suggested the 30-year-old is willing to write off a huge chunk of his salary to force a United move.

Ighalo is well aware that United chief executive Ed Woodward will only pay him around half of what he currently earns - and yet he still wants a deal done.
