An Oasis tribute band were among dozens of punters left trapped in Britain's highest pub by a snow blizzard. Storm Arwen left the Tan Hill Inn in the Yorkshire Dales buried in around 5ft of snow on Friday night.

But by 9pm it became clear that nobody would be able to make the journey home and many had to sleep in makeshift beds on the floor of the bar.
