Surfacing improvements works planned for the A9 in Perthshire have been rescheduled due to the chaos caused by Storm Arwen.
The project, worth £330,000, was set to begin on the A9 southbound between the pedestrian overbridge and the McDiarmid on-slip on Friday, November 26.However, due to the adverse weather works are now expected to begin on Friday, December 17 for one weekend.All works are now expected to be completed by 6.30am on Monday, December 20, subject to weather conditions.Over December 16-17 overnight lane closures on both the northbound and southbound carriageway will be in place between 7.30pm and 6.30am to allow contraflow traffic management to be installed ahead of the project beginning.A single lane closure will remain in
