Andrew Cuomo first revealed the initiative, which will run through Labor Day via a public-private partnership overseen by producers Scott Rudin and Jane Rosenthal.
PopsUp events, which will span New York City’s five boroughs as well as upstate and Western New York, will be accessible to the public and most are free of charge.
