Steve Bruce has denied contract rebel Matty Longstaff is being frozen out of Newcastle's started line-up.The 20-year-old Geordie hasn't started a game for his hometown club since January and has been limited to a couple of brief substitute appearances in the past month.It's led to suggestions that Longstaff isn't being selected because he could leave the Magpies at the end of the season.He signed a short-term deal making him eligible for July's games after his contract ran out last month.But Longstaff has refused to commit himself to Newcastle despite Bruce claiming the club have offered him a lucrative deal – understood to be over £20,000 per week.That's more than 20 times more than the wage packet he picked up when the Toon chief handed.
