New York City's iconic Central Park could be getting a new rival as a must-visit green space in the Big Apple. That's because the city is getting a brand new park, but it's not just a patch of green space; it's an entire island.
We're talking rolling hills, heaps of walking paths, and some pretty awesome river views. Little Island will be located in the Hudson River Park, measuring 2.4 acres.
It will boast over 100 species of trees and shrubs, as well as offering up some seriously picturesque views of that iconic New York City skyline.
Other highlights will include special events including arts performances and educational programmes, although at the moment exactly what will be on the itinerary hasn't been revealed.
