A new lockdown map for Leicester has been produced after residents were left confused. The East Midlands city was placed into a local lockdown last month, the first place to do so, following a worrying rise in the number of coronavirus cases.
Different versions of the map showed boundaries in the area that has tighter restrictions. They caused confusion among locals as to whether or not they fell into the boundary.
Now Leicester City Police have tweeted a further version of the map which covers the same lockdown area but has all the affected zone shaded in pink. Are you affected by the Leicester lockdown?
Email webnews@mirror.co.uk The police say the latest version is more viewer-friendly, LeicestershireLive reports.
