New Legoland larger set to be 'biggest in Europe' opening in 2027

theme park is opening in Europe that’s bound to have British families jumping with excitement.The new Lego themed attraction is to be built in Belgium, near Charleroi Airport, confirmed Merlin Entertainments Group.The incredible new site is set to be built on a former industrial site and will cost a whopping €400million. READ MORE: Theme park expert's tips for getting cheap tickets and beating queues It's thought that it will have on-site hotels like the UK version, and will cover an enormous 70 hectares – that’s about 98 football pitches.This is much bigger than the UK Windsor park which is 61 hectares.Families will have to wait a little longer before checking it out for themselves, as the new theme park isn't due to open its doors until 2027.
