The limit on gatherings applies when people meet in restaurants, pubs and beer gardens, as well as in homes.Children under the age of 12, who are part of the two households meeting do not count towards the limit of six people.There are "some limited exceptions", covering gyms, childcare settings, schools, organised sports and places of worship.Up to 20 people can attend weddings, civil partnerships and funerals, as well as receptions and wakes.The restrictions do not overrule current local restrictions where no one is allowed to visit inside other people's homes.These measures have been introduced in lasgow, East or West Dunbartonshire, Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire and North or South.
