A ban on indoor social gatherings, which has already been in force in seven council areas across the west of Scotland, will now be extended across the country.This means that households cannot mix inside someone’s home.Scots have been urged to comply with the rules from Wednesday before they become law on Friday.There are exceptions in place for those living alone or alone with children or people who form extended households.Pubs, bars and restaurants have also been ordered to.
