Fashion giant Boohoo is planning to make major cuts to its business after its sales were slashed by more than £150m during the first half of its financial year. The Manchester-headquartered group has identified £125m of cost savings which it will make during the rest of this year and into 2024.

Fast fashion chain Boohoo’s chief executive found his son dead in bed after he accidentally took a fatal dose of morphine, an inquest heard.

The son of Boohoo's chief executive John Lyttle has died at the age of 20, it has been confirmed. Louis Lyttle was found unresponsive in his bed at his family home in Seal near Sevenoaks in April, with his death being revealed three months later.
