New 'blue' Brit passport ridiculed as critics say it 'definitely looks black'

The new ID is replacing the old burgundy passport and the Home Office describes the colour as "blue" on its official YouTube channel.Footage shows the passport, which is very dark in colour but appears to be navy blue, being opened and flipped through to show the inside design.There are two photographs of "Angela Zoe Smith", the model in the passport, one in colour and one in black-and-white.Stamping pages appear to fairly minimalist, with a compass design on the top-left corner but otherwise little decoration.Previous passports have contained illustrations of Brit birds, cities, landmarks, and famous.
