Thousands of households will be able to apply for help on their energy bills from tomorrow as the government's new Green Homes Grant opens to the public.
The scheme, which launches on September 30, will give households £5,000 and £10,000 vouchers to help boost their insulation and improve their home's energy rating.
Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced the pledge during his July mini Budget, revealing it could also open up 100,000 jobs in areas such as insulation and plumbing.
He said the initiative will give over 600,000 homeowners in England £5,000 and £10,000 vouchers to install insulation, heat pumps, draft proofing and more to cut their energy bills.
