NBA Says Kobe Bryant's Delayed Hall of Fame Induction Coming in May 2021

Sir Ian McKellen has opened up about his family life in a new BBC interview, expressing his wish that he had been able to tell his father that was gay before he died. In a conversation with Amol Rajan, the Lord of the Rings and X-Men actor recalled growing up in Wigan, where he and his family moved shortly before the outbreak of World War II. Kobe Bryant’s induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame has been pushed to May 2021 amid the pandemic.The basketball great tragically died in January 2020 in a helicopter crash that also claimed the life of his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others.Following his passing, Kobe was due to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in August (2020), before the event was delayed due to the coronavirus Crisis.

Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant will join fellow NBA greats Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett in the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts in May 2021, the NBA annnounced Saturday.

The NBA announced Saturday that it has set the date to celebrate its new Hall of Fame inductees, including the late Kobe Bryant.
