Stanley Willey, 21, saw the animal by the restaurant in Sheffield’s city centre in the early hours of Sunday morning, March 28.A group of lads were stood around the bird – dubbed Nando the cock – and taking pictures with their flashes on before the journalism student intervened.He and his mate made a series of calls to the police and the RSPCA, and then had the eggcelent idea of taking the bird back to their Sheffield University halls of residence, Shef Live originally reported.However, Nando’s racket woke up hundreds of students – putting them in a 'fowl' mood.Their flatmate Harvey Broad, 19, told the Daily.
