A mum-of-two who punched three flight attendants after being repeatedly denied Bloody Mary cocktails was spared jail today. Emma Langford, 47, was travelling from Heathrow to Cape Town in South Africa with her son to check herself into a rehab clinic when the shocking incident happened.

The judge at Isleworth Crown Court heard how just 35 minutes into the flight, she demanded huge amounts of alcohol after claiming she was "thirsty".

After being given a Bloody Mary, she returned to her seat but came back and asked staff if they could afford her £8,000 seats and called two of the female stewardesses "fat".

She then punched customer service manager Matthew Richardson before attacking another member of the cabin crew, Poppy Haynes.
