EXCLUSIVE: Stand-up comic Deon Cole is set to return to Netflix with a third hour-long comedy special, to premiere later this year. While a title and logline haven’t been shared, he’ll tape his new hour at the LA Theater on May 2nd, as part of Netflix Is A Joke Fest 2024.

UPDATED, 9:10 AM: HBO has released the official trailer for Bill Maher’s upcoming comedy special #Adulting, in which he takes on topics such as “the what were you thinking generation,” Trump and more. The one-hour special premieres April 15 at 10 PM on HBO and will stream on HBO Max. You can watch the trailer above.

Each episode dives into the career of a different heel, including Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Sasha Banks and Roman Reigns.The trailer previews all of the episodes of the series, showcasing both archival footage of notable events in the various performers’ WWE history, as well as interviews that dive into the psychology behind the people playing the heels.“I’m not playing the character, I am the character,” Roman Reigns says during a talking head interview included in the trailer.

Political comedy prince Bill Maher will be featured in a new, one-hour HBO comedy special, #Adulting, which will air sometime this spring, exact date TBA. It will debut on the network and will stream on HBO Max.

Slated for release this spring, “#Adulting” will mark Maher’s 12th special with the network and is scheduled to be taped on March 4 and 5 at the Fillmore Theater in Miami.Maher’s first HBO special dates back to 1989, and he’s since starred in the hour-long presentations “Bill Maher: Live From Oklahoma,” “Bill Maher: Live from D.C.,” “Bill Maher… But I’m Not Wrong,” “Victory Begins at Home,” “Be More Cynical,” “The Golden Goose Special,” “Stuff That Struck Me Funny” and the Emmy-nominated comedy specials “The Decider” and “I’m Swiss.” He also appeared in two half-hour stand-up specials as well as the specials “30 Seconds Over Washington” and “Comic Relief VI.” Maher is best known for hosting the talk show “Real Time with Bill Maher” on HBO, which is currently in its 20th season.

EXCLUSIVE: Christina P. is returning to Netflix with her third comedy special for the streamer. The stand-up comedian and podcaster will shoot the as-yet untitled one-hour special Saturday, January 22, at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City. It’s slated to premiere on Netflix later this year.
