A mum spent two days frantically bailing buckets of sewage from her eighth-floor council flat window after a plumbing issue was left unfixed for two days.
Wastewater and sewage suddenly began pouring from toilets and sinks in two flats at around 5am on Wednesday. In one flat, Sigita Jur was forced to scoop water from her bathroom and kitchen sinks into her toilet to stop it flooding onto her floors.
Her neighbour, who lives alone with two young children, had to battle sewage bubbling up from the toilet as well as flooding from two sinks.
