A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a crash near Dumfries. Emergency crews raced to the collision - involving two cars and a motorcycle - on the A75, just northeast of the town, at around 1.50pm on Friday.Police said the male motorcyclist was taken to hospital in Glasgow with what they describe as “serious injuries.” The road between the Bloomfield Roundabout and Brownrigg Roundabout has been closed in both directions for several hours.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a three vehicle collision on the A75 near Dumfries around 1.50pm on Friday, 15 October."It involved two cars and a motorcycle.
