MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi said driving around Silverstone is like "having sex"

MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi has said driving around the famous Silverstone track is like ‘having sex’. Rossi has a close affection to the British circuit, and spoke highly of the Towcester setup throughout his illustrious career.Silverstone made a return to the MotoGP calendar back in 2010, however Rossi was forced to miss the comeback race due to injury.

He then raced there in 2011 and 2012 and found it tough to adapt to the British track whilst riding for Ducati.Later down the line though after a move to Yamaha, the Italian legend finally found his feet on the circuit, unsurprisingly to his delight.READ MORE: MotoGP star wipes out rival one week after he branded him 'most dangerous on track'Speaking back in 2018 he said per Motor Cycle News: “Silverstone is a very difficult race track, and in the first year in 2010 I didn’t race there because I had broken my leg.

Then in 2011 and 2012 I rode the Ducati and it was like I didn’t race, because my feeling with the bike was so bad! But when I came back with Yamaha I tried to study the whole track, because it’s very interesting and very technical.“In the end, I’ve been strong for the past two years and I’m happy about this, because I can still learn a new track when I’m old!” Going on to describe as a ‘proper MotoGP track’ and comparing it to sex, he added: “Always in Silverstone there are the bumps and never great grip…Is Rossi the greatest MotoGP driver of all time?
