Supermarket giant ASDA has been praised by shoppers after issuing a £1 message to shoppers. Earlier this week, the retailer made an announcement that went down well with its customers.

The supermarket chain says it will be offering all kids a hot meal for £1 this summer. During the summer holidays, kids will be able to eat for just £1 a day.

Children across England and Wales will be able to get a hot or cold meal for £1 a day across all Asda cafes, seven days a week.

Adults will not need to meet a minimum spend to gain access to this £1 deal. Children aged 16 and under can access a hot or cold meal for just £1.
