murderer has been jailed for life after killing an RAF mum-of-two. Brian Manship, 38, met Sarah Hassall in a pub before stabbing her 22 times at his flat.
Servicewoman, Ms Hassall, was found wrapped in a curtain by neighbours who forced entry into the flat and called police. Her killer, Manship, escaped by jumping out of a first-floor window.Firearms officers found the beast hiding in undergrowth close to his flat in Llys Graig Y Wion, Pontypridd, South Wales.Manship pleaded guilty to the murder in January.On Thursday he was sentenced to a minimum of 20 years imprisonment at Swansea Crown Court.Ms Hassall had previously served with both the RAF and the Royal Engineers for 14 years, and was living in Wales having grown up in Chelmsford,.
