After decades of ambitious plans which never got off the ground, developers Capital & Centric said they had funding in place to start the scheme early next year as Bolton Council’s planning committee unanimously backed the proposals.
The plans for the Market Precinct area will see five new building created along with a new town square. Capital & Centric, a social impact developer, said their vision was a vibrant new town centre community as the outline planning application for the regeneration proposals were approved today.
