Kieran Tierney could be involved in Arsenal's Europa League tie with Benfica this week Mikel Arteta has revealed. The Scot has been absent for several weeks with a leg injury but is poised to rejoin training in the coming days.
Tierney had become an integral figure for the Gunners prior to picking up the knock. He is one of two notable absentees currently with Thomas Partey also sidelined.
The Ghanaian midfielder has been battling injury problems all season and is currently nursing a hamstring injury. Both players are in a race against time to be fit for Thursday's game but Arteta reckons Tierney is more likely to play.
