The King of Pop's troubled past has meant the uninhabited estate has been neglected ever since the harrowing child abuse allegations against him.
The last time the pop legend was known to be inside his crumbling mansion was June 25, 2009 - the day of his bizarre death. Rumours started flowing in the afternoon that something was going on at his property, based on North Carolwood Drive in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles.
At the time, Jackson was in the public eye with a huge comeback tour on the near horizon - but he was found unresponsive by his physician Conrad Murray in his plush bedroom.
