The 2020 Met Gala has been postponed indefinitely, chair Anna Wintour has confirmed. The uber VIP event, which was due to be attended by some of the biggest names on the planet had been set to take place on May 4 at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The evening was highly tipped as one of the first events Meghan Markle would make an appearance at after quitting the British Royal Family at the end of March.
Tickets for the annual event are reported to around $35,000 each, while a table at the event costs a staggering $200,000. The New York Times report that a spokesperson for the museum has confirmed no new date or further plans for the party are in the pipeline.
