Anna Wintour: ‘It would be impossible to recreate the Met Gala via livestream’

hollywood.comVogue magazine editor-in-chief Anna Wintour wants fans to be clear that Monday’s (May 4, 2020) A Moment With the Met live stream will not recreate the planned Met Gala event.
Back in March, it was confirmed that fashion’s biggest night, which this year was to be guest-hosted by Meryl Streep and Nicolas Ghesquiere, alongside regular host and Conde Nast artistic director Anna, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, was to be rescheduled due to the COVID-19 crisis.
In its place, officials are putting on the A Moment With the Met live stream – looking back at highlights from previous Met Gala’s in place of the main event.
