Meghan Markle has lodged a formal complaint with ITV following controversial comments made on Good Morning Britain this week according to a new report.During Tuesday's GMB show, presenter Piers Morgan said that he "didn’t believe a word" the Duchess of Sussex said in regards to her mental health struggle and revelation of suicidal thoughts in tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.It has now emerged that a formal complaint has been lodged with ITV on behalf of Meghan, according to The Guardian.
ITV declined to comment on the report, instead referring to their original statement when contacted by The Mirror.The Good Morning Britain broadcast received 41,000 Ofcom complaints following Piers Morgan's outspoken words on Meghan and Harry's.
