Mauricio Pochettino believes his Southampton team from the 2013/14 season had the biggest impact in "changing the mindset" of English football of any side to date.
The former Tottenham Hotspur boss was reflecting on leading the Saints to an eighth-place finish in the Premier League - their best result since 2003.
And the Argentinian claimed his squad pioneered a "different style of football" influenced by his time managing Espanyol in Spain.
A number of stars enjoyed a glittering season under Pochettino's management, including Dejan Lovren, Nathaniel Clyne, Adam Lallana and Rickie Lambert - all of whom went on to later join Liverpool.
