Martin Compston teases new Line of Duty series as show has 'unfinished business'

BBC crime drama ever since the series came to its epic conclusion last year.So lovers of the popular police programme should be thrilled to hear a seventh series could be on its way in the not-too-distant future.That's because Line of Duty star Martin Compston, who played Detective Sergeant Steve Arnott, just revealed the show could return as he thinks the characters have "unfinished business".Martin, 38, sat down with his Line of Duty co-star Adrian Dunbar on Wednesday night's (August 24) edition of The One Show.Speaking to hosts Jermaine Jenas and Emma Willis, the Scottish actor admitted they wouldn't do a new series "for the sake of it", but he seemed to think the show could continue.Jermaine asked Martin: "The question on everybody's lips at the minute.
