Will Poulter was left emotional during an appearance on The One Show this evening (September 2). The actor had been talking about his role with Anti-Bullying Pro, which aims to teach school children about bullying and what they can do to prevent it.
Will, who has recently landed a dream role in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, told presenters Alex Scott and Jermaine Jenas that during his own school days, he was "relatively lucky" to avoid any serious bullying but had witnessed it. "I did thankfully have a teacher who was very active in the space," he admitted.
After explaining more about Anti-Bullying Pro and its plan to recruit 10,000 anti-bullying ambassadors, host Alex Jones pulled a trick from her sleeve.
She said: "We all know important good teachers can be, and you Will mentioned one in your school earlier, and because we're The One Show we tracked her down, so here's Miss Moran."
