So: all hands on deck.My Oyster & Fish House in Lyme Regis has a small outdoor terrace at the moment, big enough to accommodate 25 people or about a dozen if they are socially distancing.

On numbers like that, it would hardly be worth getting the staff in to reopen. So I have been pleading with the local council to allow me to spread out, temporarily, on to a small portion of the public park and gardens that surrounds the restaurant.

It’s on a steep slope down to the sea, so it is going to need levelling off with decking, but I’ve been busy on my old standbys,.
