Hull Live.It has been off the road since crashing into a tree in Hull over 25 years ago, however despite the major damage, one collector paid an astronomical fee for it.The bidder paid a huge £90,000 for the vehicle, as the auctioneer said: "It looks worse than it is."Bonhams auction company claims that the car could be worth £250,000 if it's restored.The seller and his Jag had an unfortunate encounter with a tree on a wet East Yorkshire road back in September 1996.The incident caused the damage to the car that can still be seen in its full extent of today.This includes a crumpled bonnet, bent grille, missing headlights, and the engine shoved back towards the cabin.The 'NRN 6' front registration plate is also twisted almost beyond.
