After wracking up a City record 260 goals in 390 appearances - across all competitions - the 32-year-old called time on his hugely-successful decade at the Etihad Stadium last night.

It wasn't quite the fitting farewell Aguero and supporters had dreamed up or imagined, though. Indeed, after coasting to a third Premier League title in four seasons - in addition to winning another Carabao Cup - Pep Guardiola's side were unable to complete what would have been a historic treble.
