Manchester United’s chances of appointing Zinedine Zidane as their next manager are slim, according to his former teammate Geremi.
Current boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is under pressure to turn things around, and failure to beat Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday could force the United board to relieve him of his duties.
United are currently eight points behind league-leaders Chelsea and cannot afford to slip further behind the chasing pack. Following last Sunday’s humiliating defeat at home to Liverpool, rumours surfaced in the immediate aftermath that Antonio Conte could take over, but the MEN understands that some members of the board are “not keen” on appointing the Italian.
