The 21-year-old 'keeper has agreed a new deal at Old Trafford until June 2023, with the option for a further year. Bishop joined from Southend United a year ago and has been a regular in first-team training alongside the likes of David de Gea, Dean Henderson and Sergio Romero.
The United youngster is yet to make his debut for the senior side but will now be loaned out to a Football League side in order to continue with his development plan.
