Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.

A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.

He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.

Manchester United confirm Mike Phelan and Kieran McKenna coaching decisions

Kieran McKenna and Mike Phelan are remaining at Manchester United despite the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The role of assistant manager Phelan, who signed a new contract until 2024 in October, has come under mounting scrutiny in recent months but Sir Alex Ferguson's last assistant is staying at United.

Phelan does not oversee the coaching sessions at United's Carrington training complex and he appeared to get short shrift from Marcus Rashford in the first-half of United's 4-1 thrashing at Watford.

McKenna joined United from Tottenham as the Under-18 coach in 2016 before he was promoted to the first-team by Jose Mourinho in 2018.
