The jury had already delivered their verdict on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his sacking on Sunday was well overdue. The problem is, however, there are still others at Manchester United that are guilty of the same crime that Solskjaer has been sentenced for and yet they remain at the club.
Kieran McKenna, Mike Phelan, Eric Ramsay and Martyn Pert have not followed the Norwegian through the exit door, which could make one question if much will actually change after Solskjaer's sacking.
United should have sacked Solskjaer after the Liverpool debacle, but instead, they naively waited and that decision had the hallmarks of incompetence.
