Manchester United will have fans at the Europa League final should they make the showpiece event in Gdansk. The Red Devils are 6-2 up against Roma ahead of the second-leg later this week as they target a first piece of silverware since 2017.
Gdansk was due to hold the final last term before the pandemic saw it moved to Cologne. But the Energa Stadium, which has a capacity of 43,615, is expected to be around 25 per cent full for the final on May 26.
It means 9,500 fans will attend after approval was granted from the country's authorities. The two teams who reach the final will receive an allocation of 2,000 tickets each, while 2,000 have initially been made available for the general public.
