Manchester United’s hopes of being bought out by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman look to be dead in the water. That is because a deal for him to purchase Newcastle United looks to be edging closer and closer and big developments came to light on Tuesday.
Daily Star Sport understand his key investment tool, Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund, along with financier Amanda Staveley and the Reuben Brother, have agreed a £300million deal to buy the club from current owner Mike Ashley.
Documents lodged at Companies House show that Ashley has entered into a charge agreement with Staveley, with papers including the legal groundwork for a potential deal.
