United's spot in the knockout stage has been secured, along with top spot in the group, so Ralf Rangnick has given the opportunity for youngsters to make an impression.
The interim manager spent longer at the training ground with the youth players. Luke Shaw is in, however. The left-back has struggled to be deemed fully fit since he sustained a concussion in the Manchester derby last month and he was omitted from the Reds' squad for Rangnick's first game at the weekend against Crystal Palace.
