Anthony Elanga is set to sign a new long-term deal with Manchester United. The Swedish forward only signed his latest contract with the club nine months ago but is set to be rewarded with updated terms after an impressive calendar year.
Elanga, 19, has featured five times for the senior side since his breakthrough, and interim manager Ralf Rangnick is understood to be a fond admirer.
The teenage forward featured from the bench in Ragnick's first match in charge of the club against Crystal Palace and was an unused substitute against Norwich last weekend.
He also started the Champions League dead-rubber against BSC Young Boys last week. He netted two goals across three friendly fixtures during pre-season but saw his opportunities cut short
