manchestereveningnews.co.ukA man was left injured following a “really nasty” assault in Prestwich town centre this weekend. The incident is believed to have happened in Bury New Road at around 10pm on Saturday, March 14.
A witness described seeing the victim face down in the road near Cape to Cuba following the attack. Police said officers attended the scene but when they arrived, the victim was gone.
Cocktail bar Cape to Cuba released a statement on the incident via Instagram on Sunday (March 15). A spokesman for the bar wanted to assure the public that those involved in the altercation were not customers of Cape to Cuba.
