Police are appealing for information following a robbery at a café on Stewarton Street in Wishaw.The incident happened around 10.40pm on Sunday, April 12.An unidentified man entered the premises and threatened staff with a tyre iron.He struck a female member of staff with the tool before leaving, having stolen a sum of cash worth an approximate mid-three figure sum.The woman suffered injuries to her arms which did not require hospital treatment.The man is described as being white, around 5ft 11in tall and of athletic build.
