A man is fighting for his life after being mowed down by a car in a horrific murder bid in Blantyre. The 47-year-old was raced to hospital after being struck by a silver Peugeot at an address in Anderson Gardens at around 7.40am on Friday morning.
He is currently being treated at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow after suffering life threatening injuries in the attack.
Police Scotland has launched a probe into the incident, which investigators are treating as attempted murder.
