A jury ruled in favor of Gwyneth Paltrow Thursday in a $300,000 negligence suit filed by a Utah man in 2019. Terry Sanderson was determined to be "100 percent at fault" for the ski crash in 2016. He will be responsible for $1 in damages in addition to her attorneys' fees.  In a statement provided to Fox News Digital, Paltrow said, "I felt that acquiescing to a false claim comprised my integrity.

Gwyneth Paltrow's highly publicized ski crash trial has officially come to a close Thursday, with the Goop founder being found not liable for the 2016 collision. After deliberating for just over two and a half hours, the jury found that Paltrow was not found at fault and Sanderson was. In a unanimous decision, the jury awarded Paltrow $1 in symbolic damages plus attorney fees.The actress was sued back in 2019 by Terry Sanderson, who, in his lawsuit, claimed he sustained significant injuries in 2016 after Paltrow allegedly knocked him over while skiing a beginner-level course at a resort in Park City, Utah.

The swole sentinel manning the door tries to turn her away until Roxy creates a tiny lightning bolt between her thumb and index finger. The bouncer immediately backs down, now aware of the mortal threat Roxy poses, but she isn’t finished toying with him. “I’m not going in ‘til he smiles at me,” she says, goading him until he approximates joy. “There…you look nice when you smile.” The cleverly gender-flipped scene represents “The Power” at its best, and there are thrilling moments throughout the show that justify the reportedly intense bidding war for the rights to Alderman’s novel. The book, in which teenage girls across the globe discover their ability to wield electricity, is cinematic in scope and concept. But it’s also overstuffed, teeming with more characters and ideas than can be successfully scaled for television. And so here is “The Power,” a decently executed and mostly faithful screen adaptation that undermines itself by demonstrating why a novel is the perfect format for this story.
