Man charged with murder after body of Scots woman found in churchyard

A man has been charged with the murder of a Scots woman found dead in a churchyard. Colette Law, 27, from Greenock, was found dead in a tent after police were called to St Mary and St Nicholas Church in Lincolnshire, at around 9pm on Monday, July 17.

Police said Paul Neilson, 30, of no fixed address, was charged with the murder of Ms Law on Sunday evening, reports Lincolnshire Live.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said on Sunday: "Neilson has been in police custody since his arrest, and was charged tonight.

He remains in custody and will appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court in the morning."Colette's mum Patricia told the Record: "The last time I saw her face was the week before I went on holiday in April.
